Welcome to my personal amateur radio website, a space dedicated to sharing my passion for radio communications as both a hobbyist and enthusiast.

As a General class amateur radio operator holding the callsign WE3ACR, I engage in a variety of activities including HF voice and digital modes, emergency communications support, and experimenting with antenna designs for better propagation.

Complementing this, under my GMRS license WRZR229, I focus on family and community-based repeater operations, off-grid portable setups for outdoor adventures, and group events like trail rides or neighborhood watch nets.

Whether it's chasing DX contacts on amateur bands or ensuring reliable short-range links via GMRS, radio has been a gateway to learning, problem-solving, and connecting with like-minded individuals.

Beyond my on-air pursuits, this site details the equipment I rely on, including the transceivers, handhelds, antennas, power supplies, and software-defined radio tools that keep my station humming. You'll also find references to helpful resources, FCC regulations, and technical guides that have shaped my journey.

I created this site as my own go-to reference for notes and setups, a friendly introduction to fellow hams and GMRS users, and an educational public service to inspire newcomers to the world of wireless communication. Feel free to reach out—I'd love to QSO!
